ZPA is a full service architectural design studio with over 20 years of experience and expertise. As the founder of the company, I provide direct services to clients throughout the design and construction of all projects. My studio’s highest aim is to create built work that is inventive, well crafted and sensitive to the land upon which it sits. The most current innovations in building technology, material science and design as well as a deep well of traditional building knowledge inform the studio’s sensibilities and allow for the creation of architecture that sensitively addresses how we live today and what is truly meaningful to us.
In addition to working intimately with you through all phases of a project, I have also had a great deal of experience working with craftspeople and contractors, leading teams of engineers and designers, and navigating designs through municipalities. The translation of design work to built work is often an undervalued area of knowledge. Architecture is an intensely collaborative discipline and in order to achieve exceptional work a design team acknowledges and empathizes with the entire team’s challenges. I truly enjoy this process and strive to create a rewarding and enjoyable experience for all involved.
